After years of research and different tests, a fully functional model is obtained that detects the changes produced in phonation and speech, produced by excessive alcohol consumption, due to the effect it produces on the affectation of consciousness and reaction time . It has been shown that high intakes> 0.5 gr / l affect intellectual functioning, reaction time, coordination, reflexes and nerve transmission. High alcohol consumption is also linked to changes in speech production and phonation. It is these changes that allow the use of acoustic-phonetic and pronunciation indicators to detect the effects related to alcohol intoxication.
The system is based on the temporal and frequency analysis performed on a person in a normal and drunk state. It is necessary to calibrate the system with 3 samples at 0.0 corresponding to three time slots. As is known, the voice and speech are not the same at different times of the day. Once calibrated the system will detect the changes produced at the time of making a test, simply saying a phoneme, and a word.
The system is ideal if you want to monitor together with professionals in case of addictions since all the data of the samples can be stored for later consultation.
WARNINGS
-This software does not provide blood alcohol measurements of any kind.
-When analyzing differences in the voice pattern, if in the test phase, the voice is altered intentionally, obviously the system will detect that the samples are very different, and will establish that the user has drunk. Therefore, when the test is performed, it must be carried out consciously and in the most similar conditions of ambient noise, to the reference sample.
